At the core of Elizabeth Spencer Wines is a relationship. Elizabeth Pressler and Spencer Graham are partners in wine as they are in life. Wine is, and has been for three decades, their profession and passion. Wine brought them together and, in 1998, together they created Elizabeth Spencer.

"Our belief is that wine should be delicious and representative of its appellation of origin. We make wines to drink -- inviting wines that we and our friends (and by extension, our customers) truly enjoy. "

The Elizabeth Spencer Tasting Room is located at 1165 Rutherford Road (Highway 128) in Rutherford, Napa Valley and is open every day from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm for tastings and retail sales. Private Tastings, Wine and Cheese Pairings, Appellation Tastings and reservations for outdoor tables can be made by prior appointment.

We offer two tastings daily without appointment. The Charter tasting presents five of our favorite current releases for $15. In addition, a Reserve tasting is available which features six limited production and older vintage wines for $25.

    Appellation Tasting

Join us for an intimate, sit-down tasting featuring four Elizabeth Spencer Cabernet Sauvignon wines produced from four different Napa Valley appellations paired with hand-selected Artisan cheeses. Currently we are featuring 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon from Rutherford, Howell Mountain, Mount Veeder and Napa Valley.

We will taste and explore the individual characteristics of each wine and how the climates, soils and conditions found in the growing region are expressed in the wine. This in-depth tasting showcases Elizabeth Spencer Cabernet Sauvignon and Artisan Cheeses chosen specifically for these wines.

Available daily by appointment at 10:45 am and 4:00 pm. Please allow one hour for your visit and tasting, $40 per person. To make a reservation please call 707-963-6067.
